Along with her husband Paul Attanasio, Katie Jacobs is the executive producer of the long-running medical drama "House M.D.." Jacobs landed her first production assistant job on the set of the 1987 film "Dragnet" and scored her first associate producers credit on the 1991 comedy "29th Street," which starred Danny Aiello as the first-ever New York lottery winner. During the early '90s she produced numerous films, including the parody film "Fatal Instinct" and the family heist film "Getting Even with Dad." Jacobs next produced the short-lived medical series "Gideon's Crossing" and the romantic drama "A Cool, Dry Place," about the uncomfortable love triangle between a father, his ex-wife, and his new girlfriend. In 2004 she produced the pilot for "Century City," which was canceled after just nine episodes. That same year she accepted a position as executive producer on "House M.D.," and has overseen over 120 episodes of the award-winning series, which follows the lives of a group of medical students and the brilliant but unstable doctor who mentors them.
